GEO Certification Summary Report - 2009

North Berwick, January 2010 - As the New Year gets off to a flying start, GEO would like to recognise the pioneering golf clubs that have achieved, or are working to achieve, GEO Certified status - the world's hallmark for sustainable golf.

GEO Certified Golf Clubs in 2009:

Congratulations are due to the individuals within these golf clubs that continue working together to improve efficiency, to improve their golf product and to achieve international recognition for managing sustainable golf environments.

GEO Certification currently has over 200 participant clubs from 40 countries including: United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico, Australia, Thailand, China, Philippines, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, France, Cyprus and Japan.

The GEO Certification Criteria are available in eight languages: English; Spanish; German; French; Italian; Slovakian; Danish and Swedish. Chinese, Korean, Portuguese and Slovenian versions will be released in early 2010. The PDF documents can be downloaded from this page »
