Pinetina G.C. is located in the “Pinewood of Appiano Gentile and Tradate” Regional Park. It is 40 km from Milan and 20 km from the Swiss border. Since 2000 the Golf Club has been dealing with environmental protecting policies. It was awarded Committed to Green National Certification in 2007 and has been involved in EMAS since 2008. In planning the annual turf management and environmental golf course strategy they were able to get the collaboration of the most qualified Italian technicians. Result of this commitment is a marked reduction of water consumption and nitrogen inputs, compared with the similar golf courses of the area (Po Valley). Nature
The golf course is situated within the Regional Park "Pineta of Appiano Gentile and Tradate" that is characterize by extensive woods and heathers, with a lot of rare species of flora and fauna. All the holes are surrounded by natural mixed woods of broad-leaved (english oak, birch, chestnut, etc.) and scots pine. The first nine holes are very hilly and follow the natural course of the ground; the second nine holes are more plainer and technically demanding.
Il campo da golf è situato all'interno del Parco Regionale "Pineta di Appiano Gentile e Tradate", caratterizzato da estesi boschi e brughiere, con numerose specie di flora e fauna di pregio. Tutte le buche sono circondate da boschi misti naturali di latifoglie (farnia, betulla, castagno, ecc.) e pino silvestre. Le prime nove buche sono collinari e e seguono il naturale andamento del terreno; le seconda nove buche sono più pianeggianti e tecnicamente impegnative.

The golf course is situated within the Regional Park "Pineta of Appiano Gentile and Tradate" and so it is subjected to the respect of the Territorial Plan of the Park, that also include some landascape's rules. The Park's territory is a plateau originated during tha glacial period and it is covered by very wide woods, heaths, agricultural fields and meadows.
