Scott works with golf courses throughout the United States and Canada, but calls Vancouver BC home. Scott migrated to the golf industry after studying earth sciences, sustainable agriculture, ecological restoration and environmental management in Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. He founded Out on a Limb in 2002, providing stewardship guidance and community and regulatory agency outreach specifically for Canadian golf courses.

As a GEO Sustainability Associate Scott conducted the verification process of the first US GEO Certified™ property, Mirimichi, and recently partnered with Andy Staples and the Golf Resource Group to provide support for the GEO OnCourse™ program throughout the United States.

An avid writer, Morrison developed Turfhugger.com to showcase sustainable golf course management from around the world, he’s published articles on environmental issues for various Superintendent Associations newsletters, Golf Course Trades and TurfNet Magazines and contributed to the Canadian Golf Superintendents Associations Environmental Resource Management Manual.
