Ryder Cup Green Drive
Showcasing sustainability through golf
Work is underway to make sure the 2014 Ryder Cup carries the lightest possible footprint, and generates the greatest possible benefit to people and the environment.
Sustainability has been an important consideration for Ryder Cup Europe since Valderrama in 1997. By 2010, the Green Drive at Celtic Manor covered a comprehensive agenda including nature conservation, energy efficiency, waste reduction, pollution prevention and communications.
Now, with a concerted effort to integrate sustainability across venue, staging and legacy, Ryder Cup 2014 is set to be one of the leading examples in sport and events. Download the Ryder Cup Green Drive Flyer.
